The bread slices easily on the board; the lines can also be used as a cutting guide, and all the crumbs fall into the tray below. Remove the board, empty the crumbs from the tray, and then wipe both pieces with a damp cloth if necessary. The joys of mess-free bread slicing!

Olive wood is extremely hard and durable; it will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

Another advantage of olive wood is its natural antibacterial properties, meaning it only needs to be hand-washed. It is not dishwasher safe.
