After rinsing, dry the olive wood well so that it does not absorb moisture. It is recommended to rub the olive wood at regular intervals with a little vegetable oil (odorless oil such as rapeseed oil recommended) in order to maintain the beautiful color and unique grain for a long time. Olive wood should never be cleaned in the dishwasher, as aggressive cleaning agents and enormous heat can attack the surface of the wood. Additionally, high temperature fluctuations and humidity can cause surfaces to crack.
